Zanzibar Underwater Explorers is a PADI and SSI-certified dive centre located in Nungwi village on the northern tip of Zanzibar, Tanzania. Founded in 2022 by PADI/SSI instructor Dominic, the centre offers daily two-dive trips departing at 08:30, covering around 17 sites including Mnemba Island (known for dolphins, turtles, and humpback whales July–September), Tumbatu Island (seahorses and nudibranchs), and a range of local Nungwi reefs with scorpion fish, frog fish, turtles, and stingrays. Discover Scuba Diving introductory programmes with pool training are available. Small groups are standard, and free transfers within Nungwi and Kendwa are provided.
