Whale Dive Centre (WDC) was founded in 2008 in Jakarta and serves as the NAUI Indonesia headquarters, also affiliated with TDI and DAN. The center trains divers across recreational, professional and technical tracks, from first-time Open Water certification through Rescue, Divemaster and Instructor programs, plus technical specialties such as Intro to Tech, Nitrox, Advanced Nitrox and Decompression Procedures, and DAN emergency-response courses (CPR/First Aid, Emergency Oxygen). Training runs in small groups (typically up to 4-8 divers) under experienced instructors, including NAUI Course Director Ebram Harimurti (diving since 1998, head of IDCA and the Indonesia Divers Rescue Team) and instructors Mimi Amilia and Jovan Lesmana. WDC also sells and rents dive gear (BCDs, computers, fins, masks) and emphasizes a conservative, safety-first culture and marine conservation. The center is based in Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.
