Turkuaz Dive Center has been running scuba trips out of Kumbahce Harbour in Bodrum for over 30 years, using its 18.5-metre boat Nimet-S, which carries up to 52 people and has hot-water showers and an indoor cabin. Daily boat trips sail from Halikarnas Pier at 10:00. First-timers with no experience get a one-to-one discovery dive with an instructor near Black Island (about 20 minutes out), around 25 minutes underwater to a maximum of 5 metres, plus a three-course lunch, use of mask/fins/snorkel, and underwater photos and video of the dive. Certified divers get two guided boat dives, morning and afternoon, with equipment rental available if needed. The center also teaches the full PADI course range, from Open Water Diver through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster and Instructor Development, plus specialties including EFR, Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Diver Propulsion, Sidemount, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Navigator, Drysuit Diving, Enriched Air Nitrox and Night Diving.
