Ticao Island Resort and Dive Camp sits on the still-undiscovered Ticao Island in Masbate, Philippines, sharing the same waters as Donsol and known for year-round encounters with manta rays at its house reef, the Manta Bowl, plus seasonal whale sharks and thresher sharks. Beyond Manta Bowl's seven dive sites, the resort runs trips to the 17 sites of North Ticao, known for coral cover and macro critters, and to the newer wreck, marine sanctuary and sea-snake cave sites of South Ticao, as well as easy check-out and night dives close to the resort. PADI instructors and divemasters teach the full course path on-site, from Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and Nitrox specialty training, with courses including learning materials, equipment rental and boat fees for training dives. The resort also sells multi-day dive-and-stay packages combining beachfront cabana accommodation, full-board meals and a set number of dives, and offers non-diving activities such as kayaking, a firefly river tour, whale shark snorkelling in nearby Donsol, and Mayon Volcano ATV and trekking trips.
