Thresher Adventures is a PADI dive centre on Malapascua Island, one of National Geographic's '100 Dives of a Lifetime' locations, known for its resident thresher sharks. It was founded by Damz, a local dive instructor with more than 15 years of experience on the island, together with his partner Amy, combining local knowledge with professional standards. Being one of the few locally owned dive operations on Malapascua, the team puts real care into the details -- from the shop and boats to the equipment -- and tailors each dive to the diver's level and interests, whether a first-timer or an experienced diver. The center also directs part of its proceeds to community projects on the island, framing diving here as connected to giving back to the local population, not just exploring the reefs.
