The Bulldog Divers is a family-run dive centre based at Baobab Beach Lodge in Vilanculos, Mozambique, founded by Philip and Marlet Schutte. The team's diving background goes back to founder Philip helping open uShaka Marine World in Durban, South Africa, and the centre now runs daily double-tank reef dives around the Bazaruto Archipelago, with a light lunch between dives, for divers of all levels. Alongside diving, the centre offers guided snorkelling trips, including seasonal whale shark snorkelling, a humpback whale safari, and a seahorse safari in the bay. On the training side it offers a Scuba Refresh for certified divers returning to the water and a Discover Scuba Diving try-dive for first-timers, with Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Open Water Referral, Rescue, EFR and Divemaster courses available by arrangement. All diving and snorkelling equipment is included in the listed prices; the Bazaruto National Park entry fee is charged separately in cash.
