The Blue Abyss Dive Shop is a PADI Dive Center (S-29588) established in 1997, set right on the water in Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines. The shop runs the full PADI course ladder from Open Water through Divemaster, plus Discover Scuba Diving experiences for those without certification, all taught in small groups with e-learning options. Diving covers Moalboal's 12 marked dive sites -- including Pescador Island, the sanctuary's famous sardine run, and a house reef used for night dives and macro photography -- reached within 5-20 minutes by boat, with two morning boat dives and one afternoon dive daily plus individual house-reef dives on the buddy system. Dives are led by instructors and divemasters with over 20 years on the local reefs, capped at 40m depth and 60-minute bottom times. On land, the resort offers garden-set twin and family rooms with air-con, hot water and a private balcony, alongside a restaurant serving European and Asian food, a daily barbecue grill, and a happy hour bar.
