Texan Scuba at The Blue Lagoon has helped people become PADI Open Water divers since 2008, serving Houston, Conroe, The Woodlands and the surrounding Texas area. It is the only PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Center in Texas that offers Open Water certification completed in a single weekend at its own training site, the Blue Lagoon in Huntsville, TX, where students can stay in an air-conditioned/heated bunkhouse. The course work is completed online beforehand (PADI eLearning), with open water dives finished on-site over the weekend. The shop is a full-service dive shop selling equipment and offers additional PADI courses including Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response First Aid/CPR.
