Taiwan Dive Center - Green Island branch (part of the Taiwan Diving chain, with sister shops in Kenting, Liuqiu, Penghu and Okinawa) is based at Chaikou, Green Island, Taitung County, drawn to the island's clear water and rich reef topography. The shop offers Discover Scuba Diving for guests without a certification, a full range of PADI courses from Open Water through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Enriched Air, Emergency First Response, DPV Diver and Divemaster, plus guided fun dives (shore, boat, night and DPV-assisted) for certified divers, priced lower for groups of two or more. On-site accommodation ranges from backpacker dorm rooms to private double rooms, with multi-day packages bundling ferry tickets, backpacker-room lodging and scooter rental alongside Open Water, Advanced Open Water or Rescue Diver courses. Equipment (regulator, BCD, wetsuit, dive computer, fins, mask, torch) can be rented by the day.
