Starfish Diving Center has operated since 1996 from the Porto Sole campsite in the Istrian fishing village of Vrsar, Croatia, just a few meters from the Adriatic. The SSI school offers dives from shore and by boat to some 28 sites, including well-preserved wrecks such as Baron Gautsch, Coriolanus, Hans Schmidt, Giuseppe Dezza and Maona, plus a full course line-up from try-dives to Open Water, Advanced, Rescue and specialty courses (Nitrox, Navigation, Deep, Wreck, Sidemount, Digital Underwater Photography), and SSI Explorer programmes for children.
