Sri Lanka Diving Tours is a family-owned dive operator founded in 1998 by Feli Fernando, now running six dive centers across Sri Lanka including this base in Trincomalee. The Trincomalee center is led by Feli's son Sashaa Fernando, a PADI Master Instructor known locally for whale and dolphin watching tours and snorkeling trips to Coral Island and Pigeon Island. The team keeps dive groups small (4-5 people) for personal attention and runs regular coral reef clean-ups with guests. Instructors are multilingual (English, Sinhala, Tamil, Hindi, German) and PADI e-learning is available in your language of choice. Courses range from a beginner Discover Scuba Diving experience to full PADI certification up to Divemaster, alongside fun dives, night dives and water sports such as whale/dolphin watching boat trips, snorkeling excursions, kayaking, water skiing and wakeboarding. Free pick-up and drop-off is offered within 10km, with both budget and A/C accommodation nearby.
