About
South Ari Dive Center is the first PADI 5 Star Dive Center in South Ari Atoll, based on Dhangethi island in the Maldives. Located only 5 to 45 minutes from the best diving in the atoll, the centre runs daily guided dives, PADI courses from Open Water to Divemaster, and combined dive-and-stay packages. The team, led by instructors with more than 17 years of combined experience, specialises in year-round whale shark and manta ray encounters in the outer atoll channels. Both Dhangethi and its secondary shark-diving base in Fuvahmulah are offered, with small groups and a 50-ft diving boat taking up to 25 divers at a time.
