Skopelos Dive Center is the Skopelos-island base of Sporades Diving, which also runs a sister operation, Ikion Diving, in Alonnisos, covering the Northern Sporades archipelago in Greece. The multilingual team (English, Greek, French, Arabic, German, Spanish, Indonesian and Serbian) combines diving, sailing and marine-science backgrounds, and shares its knowledge of local history, underwater archaeology and the islands' dive sites. The center runs the full PADI course ladder, from Discover Scuba Diving and Bubblemaker experiences through Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, plus a wide range of PADI specialty courses (Nitrox, Deep, Wreck, Night, Navigation, Search & Recovery, Underwater Photography) and PADI Freediving courses. Certified divers can join guided shore and boat dives with single-dive, package and multi-day rates, and non-divers can join boat snorkeling trips or a private guided snorkeling cruise. Group discounts and seasonal offers are available; a separate state fee applies for visits to the Alonnisos Underwater Museum.
