Side Diving Center runs scuba diving trips to Europe's largest underwater museum, located off Side on Turkey's south coast. Boats depart from the Antique Side Harbour at 10:15 after a briefing in Turkish, English, Russian and German, with an adaptation dive at Kumkoy or Apollon Bay (around 3-4m, one instructor per diver) followed by lunch on board and an afternoon dive at the Underwater Museum, where beginners explore down to 7m and certified divers to 13m among 117 statues including the Apollo Temple, Mermaid and Whirling Dervish figures. No swimming ability or prior diving experience is required for the museum introductory dive. For certified divers, the centre also offers the Kervan (Caravan) area at 18 metres, with statues of horsemen and camels (minimum CMAS 1 Star or PADI Open Water required), and the TCSG117 wreck site at around 24-25 metres, featuring a sunken coastguard vessel, a large Poseidon statue and war-themed sculptures (minimum CMAS 2 Star or PADI Advanced Open Water required).
