About

Sharm Scuba Service by Sprindiving is an Italian-run SSI dive center in Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, operating since 1996 and registered with the South Sinai Chamber of Diving and Watersports (CDWS). It is an SSI Instructor Training Center offering the full course ladder from Open Water Diver through Instructor level, plus SSI specialty courses, with a maximum of 6 divers per guide. The center's own dive boat, the M/Y Nausicaa (built 2007, 21m long, cruising speed 14 knots), takes up to 30 passengers and more than 20 divers in comfortable spaces, with two bathrooms with showers, a dedicated dive deck, oxygen and first-aid kits, and both 12L and 15L nitrox-ready tanks. Diving takes place at the well-known Sharm sites: the local reefs of Ras Nasrani to Ras Kathy, the Strait of Tiran, Ras Mohammed National Park, the region's famous wrecks (including the SS Thistlegorm, Dunraven and Million Hope) and weekly trips to Dahab. The team, led by Italian owners who are regularly on board and at the dive center, aims to combine Red Sea diving with an Italian touch of hospitality and service.
