Sharkey Scuba is a PADI Resort dive center based in Karon Beach, Phuket, operating since 2002 and offering only private instruction on all its diving courses. The center runs day trips to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, the King Cruiser wreck, Phi Phi Islands and the Similan Islands on large modern dive boats, with dive accident insurance, hotel transfers, meals and tank/weight rental included in every trip price. For beginners, the Discover Scuba Diving experience and the partial PADI Scuba Diver certification are available at Kata Beach or on Racha Yai/Racha Noi boat trips in Silver, Gold and Platinum packages. The center also runs the full certified-diver course path from Open Water and Advanced Open Water through Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response, plus refresher dives for returning divers. Online booking discounts of 10-20% apply to course prices depending on group size, and national park fees for Phi Phi and Similans are payable separately.
