Seaquest Dive Center is a long-running 5-star PADI Instructor Development Resort on Alona Beach, Panglao Island, Bohol, Philippines, tracing its roots to 1981 when the original Seaquest opened in Moalboal, Cebu; the Bohol branch opened in 1990 as the first dive center on Alona Beach. Under Belgian management, it runs fun diving in small groups of up to six, with local reef dives and boat trips to Balicasag, Pamilacan, Doljo, Pungtod and Gak-Ang islands, plus a full PADI course range from Discover Scuba Diving and Open Water through advanced and Go-Pro professional courses (Divemaster, Instructor Development, MSDT specialty instructor), nitrox and kids' diving. Guests typically stay at the adjoining Oasis Resort, and the operator also runs a second base, Sumisid Lodge, in Moalboal. Marine park fees and fuel surcharges for the various dive sites are charged separately from the base diving rates.
