SeaMagic is a PADI-affiliated diving school and dive shop based in Urayasu, Chiba Prefecture, a short walk from Urayasu Station on the Tokyo Metro. The shop teaches beginners through its Open Water course and runs day-trip and overnight fan-diving tours to sites across the Izu Peninsula and nearby islands (Hazama, Kumomi, Jogashima, Hachijojima, Ose, Mikomoto). It also offers a slower-paced 'Platinum Course' aimed at older or less physically active students, taught by an instructor with 20+ years of experience. According to the shop's own site, it has been recognized at the PADI Business Symposium with the PADI Excellence Award three years running (selected among 500+ PADI pro shops nationwide), and has also received the PADI Best Award (a single national award given to one dive center in Japan), the Customer Support Award, the Customer First Award and the AWARE (environmental) Award.
