Scubakreta is an SSI Scuba School International dive center in Hersonissos, in the Heraklion region of Crete, operating inside the Nana Golden Beach Hotel resort since 1989. With more than 35 years of diving experience behind the team, the center runs boat and shore dives in the Bay of Hersonissos every day except Sunday, with visibility of 10-30 metres, depths from 8 to 25 metres and water temperatures of 24-27C during the April-October season. The full PADI/SSI-style course ladder is on offer, from the Try Scuba Diving beginner program through Open Water, Advanced Open Water and Stress & Rescue training. Certified divers can join daily boat dives with either full equipment or tanks-and-weights-only rates, and multi-dive packages are available for longer stays.
