Scubafish is a PADI 5 Star dive centre based directly on the beach in Matemwe, on the north-east coast of Zanzibar, close to Mnemba Atoll and its surrounding reef. The team teaches and guides in English, French, Italian and Kiswahili, keeps groups small -- up to four divers per divemaster -- and puts safety first, with boats carrying life jackets and life rings and staff trained in primary and secondary care. Scubafish runs snorkelling trips around Mnemba, a full-day Island Escape with a sandbank BBQ, PADI try-dive and certification courses, and diving packages for certified divers. From September 1st a Tanzanian government Marine Park fee of $10 per person per day applies and is not included in listed prices.
