About
Scuba Turtles is a PADI dive center in Marathopoli, on the Messinia coast of the Peloponnese, Greece, known for visibility often exceeding 30 metres and an average summer water temperature of 28C. The center runs daily boat trips to Proti Island, two nautical miles offshore, with steep walls, caverns, colourful sponges and abundant marine life including sea turtles, eels and groupers, as well as shore dives and snorkeling along the Messinia coastline. Programs range from private Discover Scuba Diving experiences and PADI Seal Team/Bubblemaker programs for children through the full certification path (Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Adventure Diver, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Divemaster) and PADI specialty courses such as Dry Suit, Deep, Night, Digital Underwater Photography, Underwater Navigator, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Dive Against Debris. All dives include a full set of scuba equipment, and self-guided or PADI-guided snorkeling tours to Proti Island's shipwreck site are available for non-divers.
