Scuba Diving Cancun

About

Scuba Diving Cancun is a small, locally-run PADI operation based in the Hotel Zone, focused on daily two-tank reef dives in Cancun's National Marine Park. Their certified staff have more than a decade of experience across 25-30+ reef sites, with easy Hotel Zone check-in and small-group boats both in the morning and afternoon. Beginners can try Discover Scuba Diving, a short briefing and shallow-water skills session followed by two relaxed dives at MUSA (the Underwater Museum) or a shallow reef around 6-10 metres. Certified divers can request an optional wreck dive at the C-58 (General Anaya), a former Mexican Navy minesweeper sunk in 1980 at about 80 feet, when conditions and experience allow. Divers typically encounter turtles, snappers, barracudas, eagle rays and the occasional nurse shark, with warm water and visibility of 15-30 metres year round. The center also offers a full range of PADI courses from Scuba Diver through Divemaster.
