Scuba Blue Zanzibar is a boutique SSI/PADI dive center in Pwani Mchangani on Zanzibar's east coast, founded at the end of 2019 by two friends from the village of Matemwe. The team of local instructors has grown up along the reefs of Zanzibar and worked in diving for around 20 years, offering a professional service at a friendlier price than larger foreign-run operations. The center runs daily snorkeling and scuba diving trips as well as SSI/PADI courses from Bubble Maker for kids through Rescue Diver, and takes divers to sites around Mnemba Island, the north coast of Zanzibar and Tumbatu Island. Scuba Blue Zanzibar is a DAN Safety Partner, with staff trained to handle diving medical emergencies and access to the hyperbaric chamber in Stone Town, and dives in small groups for a safer, more personal experience.
