Sarigerme Diving is an SSI dive centre operating from Sarigerme on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, offering try-dives, SSI courses and daily diving for qualified divers aboard the boat Deep Blue. Beginners can join a Family Try Diving day from waist-deep water (max 5m, no swimming skill required, hotel pickup included), or work through the SSI Scuba Diver and Open Water Diver courses (max depth 12m/18m) and on to SSI Advanced Open Water and specialty courses such as Deep Diving, Navigation, Enriched Air Nitrox, Night Diving, Underwater Photography, Perfect Buoyancy and Diver Stress & Rescue. Qualified divers can book single dives or dive packages, plus a Refresh Dive for holiday divers who have not dived in over 6 months. The centre also runs the SSI Pro career pathway (Divemaster, Assistant Instructor, Instructor Training Course, Specialty Instructor). Sea temperatures range from about 20°C in early May to 26°C in high summer, with sightings of octopus, groupers, moray eels, jackfish and nesting green sea turtles, plus tunnels, caves and swim-throughs.
