Sand Dollar Sports is a PADI 5 Star dive center right on the beach in San Miguel de Cozumel, Mexico, with more than 40 years of experience welcoming divers to the Mesoamerican Reef. The team runs daily shore and two-tank boat dives, private dive trips, and multi-day dive packages for certified divers exploring the reefs and walls of the Cozumel Marine Park, home to turtles, eagle rays, nurse sharks and colorful sponge gardens. Beginners can try a no-experience-required Discover Scuba Diving session, and the center teaches the full range of PADI courses, from Open Water and Advanced Open Water to referral and refresher courses, using new Aqualung equipment maintained in-house. Sand Dollar Sports also offers a SNUBA tour and shore snorkeling, keeps a small divemaster-to-guest ratio of 6:1, and is a Green Fins member. Every activity supports the center's own Cozumel Coral Reef Restoration Program, run together with local marine biologists.
