Samos Dive Center is the first dive center on the Greek island of Samos, founded in 2007 and operating from the ancient port of Pythagorion. It is a small, family-run, top-ranked SSI center that keeps groups small (max 6 divers on the dive boat, max 10 on the snorkel boat) and runs daily boat trips year-round, weather permitting. The multilingual team (English, Dutch, German, French, Danish, Greek) offers guided scuba diving, snorkelling tours, freediving, mermaid experiences and a full range of SSI specialty courses, plus professional-track training (Divemaster, Instructor, Public Safety Diver). Water temperatures range roughly 17-20C at depth in shoulder season up to 22-25C on the surface in summer; local marine life includes Greek reef fish, octopus, cuttlefish and nudibranchs, alongside ancient underwater curiosities.
