Rovinj Sub is a scuba diving center on Val di Bora beach, about a 10-minute walk from the historic center of Rovinj, Istria. The renovated base offers shore and boat dives to nearby islands, rocky reefs and several well-known shipwrecks, including the protected wrecks Baron Gautsch and Hans Schmidt. Rental gear includes steel tanks, wetsuits, regulators, dive computers and underwater lights, backed by a Nitrox-capable compressor station. Besides recreational scuba diving the center runs freediving activities and DAN first-aid training (Oxygen Provider and Basic Life Support courses) open to divers and non-divers alike. Discovery dives for beginners and check dives for certified divers are both available from the shore.
