Red Sea Dive Center is a family-run hotel and dive centre on South Beach in Aqaba, Jordan, about 700 metres from the water and a 5-minute drive from the region's main dive sites. The hotel side has 13 en-suite double rooms, most with sea or pool views, plus a swimming pool, a kids' pool and a restaurant. Daily shore diving trips leave the resort every morning at 10 AM, with two dives and a one-hour surface interval in between, usually finishing by 2-3 PM; boat trips are available on request depending on availability and weather. The centre also runs snorkelling trips from the shore alongside the divers, and offers guided night dives for certified divers (minimum four people). Red Sea Dive Center teaches the PADI course range, from Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Diver for beginners through Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water and Rescue Diver, plus specialty courses such as Deep Diver, Night Diver, Wreck Diver, Search and Recovery, Underwater Navigator, Underwater Naturalist, Peak Performance Buoyancy and Digital Underwater Photography, up to Divemaster level.
