The Racha Dive Center is a five-star PADI dive operation based at The Racha resort on Koh Racha Yai. It has a purpose-built three-metre-deep ozonated instructional pool, an air-conditioned classroom and a spacious retail shop, and offers personalized PADI scuba instruction and diving trips to the Andaman Islands' most unique and beautiful sites. Courses run from Discover Scuba Diving through Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver and Emergency First Responder, plus PADI specialties including Wreck, Deep, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photographer and Enriched Air (Nitrox). Diving at Racha Yai includes beach, boat and night dives, with beginners starting in a shallow bay with a sandy bottom surrounded by coral gardens, and certified divers taken to deeper drift dives. On its own purpose-built dive boats, the center also runs day trips to Racha Noi, Phi Phi Island, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, King Cruiser Wreck and Koh Dok Mai.
