Portulano Dive Resort is a boutique dive resort on the north side of Anilao, in San Pablo, Bauan, Batangas, Philippines, with over 20 years of scuba diving instruction experience. Accommodation ranges from fan-cooled to air-conditioned seaview studio and hillside rooms, all with full board meals, private terraces and hot showers. Diving is arranged for certified divers with divemaster supervision, tanks, weights and boat services, offering both area boat dives and shore dives (including shore night dives), with add-ons for nitrox and underwater photography. The dive school teaches the full PADI pathway, from an introductory Scuba Review try-dive through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox) and Rescue Diver courses, with an emphasis on unhurried, safety-focused, individually paced training rather than minimum-standard shortcuts. Multi-day dive-and-stay packages combining guided dives, meals, accommodation and airport transfers are also available, and the resort runs coastal clean-up and coral restoration advocacy programs.
