About

Pili Beach Diving Center sits at the southern tip of Tablas Island in Romblon, Philippines, right in front of Pili Beach Resort. Diving is based around two nearby areas -- the home reef just off the resort's beach and the sites around Carabao Island -- with most spots reachable by a short banca boat ride. Water stays around 25-26C year-round with generally mild currents and visibility from 10m up to 20m+. Depths range from 5 to 100m across extensive reef walls and small caves cut into the island's soft rock, suiting everything from novice recreational divers to free-divers and technical divers. The center is largely exploring still-uncharted dive sites and welcomes divers keen to help find new ones. Equipment is on hand for up to 10 divers, led by an instructor with 15 years of experience out of Boracay. Two boat trips run daily depending on tides and weather, with light snacks and drinks included during the surface interval; a separate area in front of the beach is used for macro/critter diving.
