Pigeon Island Diving Center was established in 2010 in Trincomalee, on Sri Lanka's east coast, and now operates from a dive centre on Dyke Street. The PADI-affiliated team offers Discover Scuba Diving try-dives, PADI Bubblemaker for children, and professional courses including Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Response and Divemaster, plus specialty courses. Dive experiences include diving around Pigeon Island with turtles, tropical fish and black tip reef sharks, night diving off Navy Island, deep diving to 20-35 metres at four sites, a Navy Museum shipwreck dive, and cave diving at Navy Island. Beyond diving, the center runs snorkeling trips, whale and dolphin watching, jet ski and kayak rentals, sport fishing, and a glass-bottom boat tour.
