Phocea is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Centre based on the beachfront in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, with a sister branch in Bali. The multilingual team runs recreational courses (Discover Scuba Diving, PADI Refresher, Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver), professional training (Divemaster, IDC), and technical/cave courses (Tec Sidemount, Cavern, Intro to Cave, Full Cave) taking advantage of the area's famous cenotes and the deep walls of Cozumel. Guided trips include local reef diving, cenote dives, bull sharks, eagle rays, night dives, seasonal whale shark and sailfish encounters, plus multi-day diving packages. Beyond diving, Phocea also arranges land excursions to Chichen Itza, Tulum and Coba, and the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve.
