Pelagos Dive Centre has operated in Agios Nikolaos, Crete, since 1987, based at the end of the Minos Beach art hotel with its own separate entrance open to all visiting divers. Open from April to November, the center dives in calm, tideless, current-free water with reliably clear visibility, including a sheltered 'house reef' bay right in front of the base that is ideal for first-time try-dives. Instructors with more than 25 years of teaching experience run the full PADI course range up to Divemaster, with particular experience teaching children from age 8. Beyond scuba diving and snorkeling, Pelagos also offers boat rentals, watersports and sailing yacht charters from the same base.
