Dive Kenya (Papamanyota Diving Center) is a PADI Instructor Development Centre based on Diani Beach on Kenya's southern coast, run by PADI professionals Jurek and Petr, who trained and worked across Europe and the Caribbean before setting up their instructor-training base in Diani. The center specializes in PADI Instructor Development Courses (IDC) for divers who want to turn their passion into a diving career, with a training pool next to the classroom, three dive boats and dive sites along Diani's reefs. Diani Beach is known for warm Indian Ocean water, good visibility and varied marine life, including hard and soft coral gardens, reef fish, turtles, octopus, rays, moray eels, dolphins and occasional reef sharks, with parts of the reef protected for conservation. IDC intakes run several times a year, and the center offers affordable local accommodation and food for students on longer training programs.
