Pacific Quest Dive Center has served Crescent City, California since 1996 as the home of ORCA Divers (Oregon-California Divers). Billed locally as the biggest little dive center on the West Coast, it is a PADI 5 Star operation running lessons, air fills, equipment repair, rentals and sales out of its shop on D Street. Training covers the full PADI ladder: Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, a wide range of specialty courses (deep, wreck, night, drift, dry suit, full face mask and more), and the professional-level Divemaster and Open Water Scuba Instructor programs. Open Water certification dives are completed at Smith River, and courses run on flexible private, semiprivate or small-group schedules. The center prepares divers for the cold, nutrient-rich waters of the Pacific Northwest under its motto, excellence in SCUBA education.
