One Ocean Zanzibar is a PADI 5 Star operation with three branches on Zanzibar (One Ocean Kendwa, One Ocean Matemwe and One Ocean Stone Town), offering the full range of PADI courses from Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Responder, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, plus specialty courses such as Deep Diver, Enriched Air Nitrox, Digital Underwater Photographer and Peak Performance Buoyancy. As a dive shop policy, a Refresher course is required for any diver who has not dived for 12 months or longer, and the ReActivate programme is offered for divers returning after a longer break. All courses require adequate swimming skills, good physical health and a medical questionnaire before starting.
