Octopus Diving Center was founded in 2008 by a couple passionate about the sea who left mainland Portugal to create a dive center where each person could experience the ocean in their own way. It is based in Praia da Vitória, right next to the largest sandy beach on Terceira Island, Azores. From day one they have been joined by their Dive Master and local dive guide, and today they are the most experienced dive center on the island. The center offers personalized diving experiences for all levels, recreational diving certifications, snorkeling tours, internationally recognized SSI dive courses, refresh dives, and unique adventures like swimming with dolphins or diving at the underwater volcano of Banco D. João de Castro. It holds License MT 18/2009.
