About
Ocean Dive Centre is part of Ocean Group Maldives, founded in 1998 by Hussain and Yasmin Zahid. First established in 2011, Ocean Dive Centre operates PADI Five Star certified dive centres at partner resorts across the Maldives, including here at Veligandu Island Resort & Spa. Dive centres are equipped with BAUER PureAir stations and SCUBAPRO and SAEKO gear, with a team of professional divemasters and instructors running certification and non-certification courses. The surrounding atolls are known for manta aggregations, abundant reef fish and vivid soft-coral seascapes, with diving with hammerhead sharks, whale sharks and shipwrecks among the highlights.
