Tsunami Diving Center operates from the Tsunami Village resort in Bwejuu, Zanzibar, and was formed by the merger of the long-running Nakupenda diving centre (10 years on the island) with Tsunami diving centre. It is led by Walter Trinca, founder of Nakupenda and a PADI Master Scuba Instructor with over 40 years of diving experience worldwide, together with a team of local PADI-certified dive guides. The centre runs two boats and state-of-the-art equipment, taking divers and snorkelers to Zanzibar's coral reefs including excursions to Mnemba Atoll and Kizimkazi. PADI courses are offered from Open Water through Divemaster, alongside single and multi-day fun diving packages and snorkeling trips.
