About

mic21 Yokohama Main Store is the flagship branch of mic21, a Japanese diving-equipment retail chain that describes itself on-site as the country's largest diving shop. Located in Naka-ku, Yokohama, a 3-minute walk from JR Kannai Station and 1 minute from the Blue Line's Isezakichojamachi Station, the store stocks scuba, snorkeling and general watersports gear (wetsuits, BCDs, regulators, masks/fins/snorkels, wakeboard and SUP equipment, swimwear and rash guards) from major international and Japanese brands including Scubapro, Cressi, Mares, Suunto, Aqualung, Apeks, Gull and Tusa, alongside underwater camera equipment and housings for GoPro, Insta360, DJI Osmo and OM System/Olympus Tough cameras. Beyond retail, the shop runs free orientation sessions and teaches the full PADI course ladder in-house — Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water, Emergency First Response, Rescue Diver, Divemaster, Instructor and various specialties — aimed largely at adult beginners. It also offers equipment servicing (overhaul and dive-computer battery replacement, including gear bought elsewhere, with a stated 2-3 week turnaround) and organizes local day-trip fun-diving tours such as to Nishikawana and Ido. The store operates as a registered tax-free shop and accepts UnionPay.
