Merlin Divers (Kamala Diving Center) is a Swiss-managed dive shop and dive school just 20 metres from Kamala Beach on Phuket's west coast, run by general manager Robert Klein. The centre teaches SSI and PADI courses from beginner to Divemaster and runs day trips to Racha Yai, Racha Noi, the Phi Phi Islands, Shark Point, Anemone Reef, the King Cruiser wreck and the Similan Islands, plus overnight and liveaboard excursions. About ten quiet local dive sites off Kamala, Surin and Bangtao are visited by only a few operators. Merlin Divers is an official Aqualung dealer with one of the biggest dive equipment sales floors on Phuket.
