Maui Pacific Divers is a small-boat scuba diving and private charter operator on Maui, best known for diving the underwater lava tubes at the Cathedrals of Lana'i with a maximum of six divers per boat. The operation is run by Captain Mikal, an architect and PADI IDC scuba instructor who designed and built the boat himself, together with his partner Maggie. Besides scuba diving and snorkeling around Maui and Lana'i, the company runs whale-watch tours during the humpback whale season, when over 10,000 whales migrate to Maui's protected waters between December and April.
