Marsa Shagra Village is one of three Red Sea Diving Safari locations in Marsa Alam, established as a diving camp more than 30 years ago by founder Hossam Helmy. It sits on a stunning stretch of the southern Red Sea with one of the region's most beautiful house reefs, stretching over 2km, accessible directly from the beach and open to certified divers for independent, unguided diving. World-famous sites such as Elphinstone and Abu Dabab are a short trip away, and the reef's depths beyond 40m also make it a favourite spot for free divers, with development sessions available through the resident AIDA instructor. Accommodation ranges from traditional Royal Tents to Superior Deluxe Chalets, with a buffet restaurant, Bedouin cafe, yoga shala and kids' eco-learning center on site.
