Marine Monkees is a PADI 5-star dive centre based on Tioman Island, Malaysia, founded in 2008 by a group of dive buddies who started out running trips across Asia from the mainland before setting up on the island in 2011. The team runs recreational diving and PADI courses around Tioman's reefs, where whale sharks, barracudas, turtles and mantas have all been sighted. With thousands of certifications issued and tens of thousands of dives logged, the centre puts an emphasis on diving in a group of friends rather than just a buddy pair, alongside a strong focus on safety and instruction.
