Mares Dive Center is a PADI 5-Star Instructor Development Center in Ensenada, Baja California, offering recreational and technical diving courses and trips. Its main local diving is at La Bufadora, known for reefs covered in nudibranchs, hard coral and kelp, with scenic diving where you can see seals, sea lions, lobsters and moray eels. The center also runs expeditions to Arbolitos, Isla Todos Santos and, further afield, Mahahual and Banco Chinchorro. On the training side, Mares Dive Center teaches PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver, Rescue Diver and Divemaster, plus Nitrox and other specialties, as well as technical diving courses, and puts together packages that combine a course with travel, accommodation and meals.
