About
Manta Diving Madeira is based at the Sentido Hotel Galomar in Canico de Baixo, right inside the Garajau underwater marine reserve, with 6 house-reef dive sites from 4 to 34 meters directly in front of the base. Operating on Madeira for over 40 years, under Stefan Maier since 1997, it is the only ISO 24803-certified dive base in the Atlantic and offers reef diving, boat dives, wreck diving, freediving stations and courses.
