Lulu Dive Center is a small, family-run PADI dive school in Nungwi, Zanzibar, run by local instructor Mbwana Maulid Mbwana, who has been diving for 15 years and trained as a PADI instructor in 2014. The center focuses on safe, individual small-group diving with a deep knowledge of the best local dive spots, reachable by a short boat ride, as well as further sites such as Leven Bank, Tumbatu Island and the Mnemba Atoll. Lulu Dive Center offers PADI courses from Discover Scuba Diving through Rescue Diver, daily fun diving with equipment included, snorkeling trips to Tumbatu and the Mnemba Marine National Park, and combined dive-and-sleep packages. The team dives with Aqualung and Cressi equipment, keeps it carefully cleaned and maintained, and follows the Zanzibari motto of Pole Pole - taking every dive at an unhurried, relaxed pace.
