Liquid Blue Divers is a small, owner-operated PADI dive shop on Cozumel run by Steve and Kami Michels, who took over the business in 2013 after visiting the island and falling for its operation, the Bonita Luna boat, and its high-capacity steel tanks. They cap groups at 6-7 divers per fast, fully-canopied boat (now re-powered with twin 115 HP Yamaha engines), dive with their guests personally, and equip every diver with a 100/120 cu.ft. high-pressure steel tank and a complimentary dive computer for one-hour-plus multi-level dives. The shop handles full valet service — hotel pier pickup, gear setup, rinsing and storage — and builds each day's dive sites around what its divers want to see rather than a fixed schedule. Beyond scuba, they run the 'El Cielo' boat tour to a sandbar and reef area on the island's south end, and general reef snorkel trips.
