La Laguna Beach Club & Dive Centre is a beachfront hotel and PADI Instructor Development 5 Star dive facility on Big La Laguna Beach, Puerto Galera, Oriental Mindoro - about 3 hours from Manila. The dive shop sits right on the property and its boats reach more than 40 dive sites within minutes, from shallow reefs and coral gardens to walls, wrecks (Alma-Jane, Sabang Wreck) and deep technical sites such as Marcus Cave and Secret Reef. Alongside the standard PADI recreational ladder (Discover Scuba, Open Water through Divemaster and Assistant Instructor, plus specialty courses like Nitrox, Wreck, Navigation and Photography), the center runs its own La Laguna Tech Center offering PADI TecRec, TDI and technical training up to Trimix on both open circuit and closed-circuit rebreather, backed by a gas-blending station with helium analyzers and a gas booster pump. Fun dives, night dives, twinset and sidemount dives are available with either the diver's own gear or shop rental gear. The hotel's rooms are built around a swimming pool also used for dive training, and boat charters can be arranged separately.
